EasySwatch began with a problem familiar to many watercolor painters: every trip, workshop, and new project can call for a different palette.
Planning and swatching takes time. You think you have it right, put the pans in place, begin the swatch card, and then realize you are missing a key color or it’s somewhere you wouldn’t instinctively reach for it. Our founders approached that problem from two complementary perspectives: one foot deeply rooted in the watercolor world and the other in software design and development. They imagined a faster, more visual way to try different layouts before putting real paint into real pans or rearrange them quickly once you’ve tried a layout.

EasySwatch uses the manufacturers’ digital swatches for planning, but nothing beats the real paint, so if you prefer, print the swatch sheet without the colors and paint your own!
